Prof. Dr. Roselina Ahmad Saufi is the Vice-Chancellor and CEO of Universiti Malaya-Wales and a Professor of Business and Entrepreneurship. She previously served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International) at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan and Group Managing Director of UMS Link Holdings. Her work focuses on policy development and strategic initiatives, contributing to the 2U2I policy, Entrepreneurship Integrated Education Plan, Rural Entrepreneurship Framework, My Top Business School Framework, and Malaysia’s Cooperative Digital Transformation Plan. A recipient of several international leadership awards, she is also a Visiting Professor globally and holds a PhD and MBA from the University of Sheffield.

Salina has more than 25 years of experience in marketing communications across media, property, NGOs, service industries and PR agencies. Her work spans public relations, writing, editorial development and large scale event management.
She has worked with the New Straits Times Press, Malaysiakini and various PR consultancies, and has written for multiple magazines. Her career has allowed her to collaborate with corporate leaders, ministers and industry decision makers while strengthening communication strategies and brand presence for diverse organisations.
As a PR consultant and writer, she has produced corporate materials, coffee table book content, campaign messaging and media engagement plans for clients in construction, healthcare, biotechnology, consumer brands and property development. Her portfolio includes launches, signing ceremonies, rebranding exercises and extensive writing assignments.
Salina began her career as a bilingual copywriter before expanding into account management, marketing leadership and project management. She holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication, a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Diploma in Marketing Communication.
She is also a founding committee member for Membership and Community Engagement in Women in Public Relations, committed to building a strong ecosystem for women and helping future generations step into larger leadership roles in the boardroom.
